Intense aromas of guava, nettle, passionfruit & gooseberry, leading into a rich palate of tropical fruits, elderflower & pink grapefruit. Well balanced with juicy acidity and a long lingering finish.

This wine is grown at two family owned vineyards approx 5km in distance. Vintage 2021 had terrible flowering which contributed to smaller yields but warm dry days and cool nights gave us fruit with big flavours.

86% Stainless Steel ferment. 14% barrel ferment. Inoculated with yeast that was cultivated from wild stains

Bottled: 6th July 2021. Released: August 2021. Cellar: drink now to 2026.

Equally delicious on the palate with flavours that mirror the nose wrapped in a silky texture then contrasting acidity, a steely freshness and saline mineral finish. Balanced and well made with the best drinking from 2022 through 2029.”
